For families searching for a summer school in Paris, Forest International School Paris offers a summer programme that feels like camp rather than formal lessons: English-led days outdoors in Mareil-Marly, with forest exploration, swimming, creative workshops, science, cooking and group games.
As of July 2026, Summer Camp sessions run during July on our forest campus near Saint-Germain-en-Laye. The camp day runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with early drop-off at 9:30 AM and late pick-up at 5:30 PM available for 40 €/day.
Families can use the FISP Summer Camp registration form to register. Optional swimming class and transportation requests can be submitted through the Swimming Class & Transportation form.
What children do each day
Each camp day is a blend of structured activities and free play. The programme changes with the weather, because we use the forest campus as much as possible and adapt the day so children can enjoy summer safely.
Activities may include:
- Forest and orchard exploration in the shade of the trees
- Swimming and water play
- Arts and crafts using nature-based and nature-inspired ideas
- Fun science experiments through hands-on play
- Cooking and baking activities
- Games and group activities that build confidence and teamwork
The main camp language is English, with children also exposed to French in a bilingual environment. There are no formal language lessons during camp. The focus is summer fun, new friendships and memorable experiences in a warm international setting.
Food, rest and rhythm
Water and fresh juices are provided during the day so children can stay hydrated. Lunch can be booked for 40 €/week and includes a three-course organic, pork-free lunch, plus healthy morning and afternoon snacks such as fruit and yoghurts.
Children take part in some activities together and others in age-specific groups, so younger and older children can each have the right pace. If siblings wish to stay together, the team can accommodate that.
Swimming and transport options
The pool is open for free camp access every Tuesday and Thursday. Private swimming classes are available on the other camp days and can be requested through the optional swimming and transportation form.
Transportation is also available from Saint-Germain-en-Laye/Le Pecq and Paris 16 on a first-come-first-served basis. Families who need transport should request it early through the same optional form.
Summer camp dates and registration
The full camp dates, weekly rates and current availability are kept on the Holiday Camps page. Families can also contact the school through Contact Us if they need help choosing the right week or adding swimming and transport options.
